Growing Darkness: For this poster, it represents for me the purest visual translation of a deep night—a night wavering from blue to black, where finding one’s way is difficult. Tokoyami fades away as you look at it/as the night progresses, as it becomes increasingly hard to see. Black Hole: Here, I chose to interpret the word through a black hole—an infinitely large, dark element that absorbs everything, even the most powerful light. This distinctive feature subtly conveys the idea of a deep night, represented by a complete absorption of light. Eclipse: For this final poster, the word is translated through the symbol of an eclipse. It brings the word into the light through a blackness meant to be total. Light diffuses along the edges of the eclipse, allowing the letters forming "Tokoyami" to appear. They are barely visible, just as in a deep night where seeing clearly becomes challenging.
